Tecasafe® Plus 700 has achieved the AS/NZS 4824: 2021 standard

Tecasafe® Plus 700 has achieved the AS/NZS 4824: 2021 standard

Tecasafe® Plus 700 has successfully passed the laboratory test of Wildland Firefighting Clothing standard for Australia and New Zealand, AS/NZS 4824: 2021. This standard specifies the minimum performance requirements for protective clothing designed for use for extended periods of time during wildland firefighting operations.

Wildland firefighting in Australia and New Zealand involves work primarily in summer temperatures, for many hours in which the firefighter can develop high levels of metabolic heat. As a result, the protective clothing needs to be light, flexible, and commensurate with the risks to which the firefighter can be exposed to be effective without introducing heat stress to the wearer.

The standard AS/NZS 4824: 2021 replaces AS/NZS 4824: 2006. Tensile strength, tear strength, and abrasion resistance have all been significantly increased. This proves that Tecasafe® Plus 700 has exceptional performance while also providing comfort and flexibility.
